Job Description: Service Administration Person

Department: Operations

Reports to: Service Account Manager

Job Summary:  A Service Administration Person is responsible for handling Customer Service and Office Duties related to the Service Department.  

Duties and Responsibilities (In order of importance):

  • Invoicing of service orders (temporary)
  • Communicating downed units and prioritizing action with customer within one business day
  • Assisting with incoming phone calls/trouble shooting in Service Department
  • Scheduling service calls in Grand Rapids
  • Sending follow-up quotes to customers in Grand Rapids and as needed on the Metro-Detroit East Side
  • Write up paperwork for Service Techs
  • Contact customers with Planned Maintenance Reminders and maintain a Planned Maintenance Schedule in Grand Rapids
  • Attending Daily Tailgate Meetings
  • Attend Monthly Meetings

Any working knowledge of Fitness Equipment/Industry is a Big Plus!

Proficient on Microsoft Office (specifically Calendar and Outlook Suites)

Compensation: $14.00 – $16.00 Per Hour, Target Wage is $15.00 Per Hour.

The Direct Hire Option could go as long as 6-Months (1,040 Straight Time Hours Worked), but will more than likely take place after 90-Days (520 Straight Time Hours Worked). It is Intended, but not guaranteed.
